BodyHealth Bio Detox is a one-a-day capsule built around zeolite, a mineral, with a blend of clay, aloe vera, fulvic acid, humic acid and C60. Each vegetable capsule holds 300 mg of zeolite and a 230 mg blend of the other five ingredients, and the bottle holds 60 capsules, or 60 days at one a day.
What's in BodyHealth Bio Detox?
The zeolite is 70% clinoptilolite, the most common natural form of zeolite. Zeolites are volcanic minerals with a porous, cage-like crystal structure. The 230 mg blend adds ultra terra clay, aloe vera extract, fulvic acid, humic acid and C60, also called fullerene. Aloe vera extract comes from the gel-filled leaves of the aloe plant.
Fulvic and humic acids are organic compounds that form in soil as plant matter breaks down over long periods. C60 is a molecule made of 60 carbon atoms arranged in the shape of a hollow ball. The capsule is vegetable cellulose, and the only other ingredients are silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate, which help the powder flow during capsule filling.
How to take Bio Detox
The label's directions are to take it on an empty stomach with water, or as your health care professional directs. It also asks you to take it at least an hour before or after meals, other supplements and medications. If you take prescription medication, plan your day around that one-hour gap and check the timing with your pharmacist.
One capsule is a full serving, so a bottle lasts two months.
Fitting it into your day
The one-hour gap is easiest to keep first thing in the morning or at bedtime. For example, if you eat breakfast at 8 a.m., you could take Bio Detox when you wake at 7, or wait until mid-morning, an hour after you've eaten. Take any other supplements on the opposite side of that gap. If you take medication twice a day, ask your pharmacist where a one-hour gap fits best.
Bio Detox or Metal-Free?
