Gabriel Moisturizing Liquid Foundation - Pale Ivory (30 mL)

Used this for a week. I have no problem getting to sleep. My problem is staying asleep. I wake up 4 - 5 times each night and taking this didn't help at all. It made me a bit groggy when I woke up but didn't stop me from waking up. The pills also have a very not pleasant smell. There is no taste when you take them but the smell when you open the bottle is very off-putting.

This liquid foundation feels smooth and comfortable on the skin and carries a flattering glow with it. I have used it before, on its own in winter when my skin is paler, and mix it with Gabriel's Rose Beige liquid foundation to get just the right tint I need. It's only drawback to these very-good-for-sensitive-skin foundations I find on our very hot & humid summer days and I'm perspiring a lot I find that it comes streaming down my face and soon it's almost all rinsed off! So, it just has to be re-applied. But, because my skin is super-sensitive I was glad to have discovered the Gabriel line and will continue to use it.
I would like to add that I, regrettably, found that the first Bottle of the Rose Beige liquid foundation I had ordered did not flow and not even vigorous shaking coaxed it to get moving. It seemed thick and somewhat dry. I gave that one a low rating. However, to my great surprise, Vitasave sent me another, and this bottle is fine, so I would like to upgrade the rating to the 5 stars it deserves. So thank you very much, Vitasave for your kindness in replacing it. I had not expected this very generous surprise. From Betty W-K.

As a foundation alone this product fails. It is hard to apply soaking into your sponge way too much. If you use your fingers most of it wipes off. You get no coverage at all, which is essential for a liquid foundation. That being said if you're using it as a primer in combination with their powder foundation it works beautifully. The powder sticks very well to the invisible layer left from the foundation and it provides a more solid coverage to the powder than when used alone. I don't find it moisturizing and it doesn't make my skin oily. Feels nice and light. I wouldn't buy it again, because I like liquid that provides coverage. It's too expensive for me to use as a primer.

I love this foundation. It is very light weight and not heavy feeling at all. Also I have sensitive skin that develops itchy patches of eczema when I use alot of different make up products and this whole brand is so awesome for being sensitive friendly. Worth the price to me
