What is apple pectin?
Pectin is a soluble fibre found in the cell walls of fruit, and apples are one of the richest sources. It is the same substance that makes jam set. The extract here comes from the fruit of Malus domestica, the common apple. The green tea extract is taken from the leaf of Camellia sinensis and is standardized to 50% catechins, the main antioxidant compounds in tea.
