What is oil of oregano?
This oil comes from the leaf of Origanum vulgare, the wild oregano of the Mediterranean hillsides. The plants are wild-crafted, which means they are gathered by hand where they grow naturally and are not farmed. Carvacrol is the main constituent of the oil, and it makes up 80% or more of the oregano oil in this bottle. A little vitamin E from sunflower seed is included too.
