What are citrus bioflavonoids?
Bioflavonoids are plant pigments that occur widely in fruit and vegetables. In citrus they are concentrated in the peel and the white pith, the parts usually thrown away. The 500 mg complex in this product is taken from the peel of five fruits (sweet orange, mandarin, grapefruit, lemon and lime) and contains 13% hesperidin. Hesperidin is the main flavonoid of sweet oranges, and a further 150 mg from orange fruit is included.

Why add hesperidin?
