What is Theracurmin?
Curcumin is the yellow pigment in the rhizome of turmeric (Curcuma longa), the spice that gives curry its colour. On its own, curcumin does not dissolve in water and little of it is absorbed. Theracurmin is a branded preparation in which curcumin is reduced to very fine particles and dispersed so that it mixes with water, giving a highly bioavailable form of the compound.
