What is Gastro-Assist?
Mastic is a resin tapped from Pistacia lentiscus, a tree grown on the Greek island of Chios; each capsule has 130 mg. Zinc L-carnosine, also called polaprezinc, joins zinc to the dipeptide carnosine and is present at 18.75 mg. Chamomile flower is included as 100 mg of a 4:1 extract. The probiotics are 5 billion CFU of Bifidobacterium longum BB536 and 2.5 billion CFU of Saccharomyces boulardii, a probiotic yeast.

How to Take
Dosage:
2 capsules 2 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take at least 2–3 hours before or after taking antibiotics or antifungal medications.

Stop use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g., diarrhea) occur, worsen, and/or persist beyond 3 days. If you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Hypersensitivity (e.g., allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment). Keep out of the reach of children.
