Heartburn Chew from Natural Factors is a chewable tablet that combines 380 mg of DGL licorice extract, 100 mg of slippery elm and 25 mg of amla extract. Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve minor inflammations of the gastrointestinal tract, abdominal pain and burning sensation in the stomach.
What is Heartburn Chew?
The formula is built from three plants. DGL is deglycyrrhizinated licorice, an extract of licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) with the glycyrrhizin removed. Slippery elm comes from the inner bark of Ulmus rubra, a tree native to North America. Amla, also called Indian gooseberry, is the fruit of Phyllanthus emblica, and the amla here is a 50:1 extract.

How to Take
Dosage:
Chew 1 tablet 3 times daily, between meals or 20 minutes before meals, or use as directed by a health carepractitioner. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications.
