What is Milk Thistle Phytosome?
Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) is a purple-flowered thistle from the Mediterranean region. Its seeds contain silymarin, a group of flavonoid compounds of which silybin is the most abundant. A Phytosome is a preparation in which a plant extract is joined to a phospholipid. Each 150 mg of this complex contains 50 mg of milk thistle seed extract.

Why a Phytosome?

How to Take
Dosage:
5 capsules 2 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Use for a minimum of 3 weeks to see beneficial effects.
Cautions:
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are breastfeeding, if you have a liver disease, gallstones, stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid, or if you are taking antiplatelet medication or blood thinners. Do not use if you have liver or gall bladder disorders, and/or bowel obstruction, a bile duct obstruction or if you are pregnant. Hypersensitivity/allergy is known to occur, in which case discontinue use. Discontinue use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble. Keep out of reach of children.
