Natural Factors Pantothenic Acid helps in the metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates and converts them into energy in the body. It is also known as the anti-stress vitamin as it plays a vital role in the production of adrenal hormones and in the formation of antibodies.
Pantothenic acid, more commonly known as vitamin B5, is converted to coenzyme A in our bodies. Coenzyme A is necessary in several metabolic processes such as the break down of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Coenzyme A also plays a role in the synthesis of cholesterol, bile, and steroids. Coenzyme A detoxifies harmful chemicals in herbicides, insecticides, and drugs.
