PEA is short for palmitoylethanolamide, a compound that resembles a fatty acid. Small amounts are present in foods such as egg yolks, peanuts and soybeans, and certain cells in the human body also make it. The PEA in PEA400 is produced from fractionated non-GMO safflower seed oil.

Why micronized PEA?
