What is ubiquinol?
Coenzyme Q10 occurs in two forms that the body converts back and forth: ubiquinone, the oxidized form, and ubiquinol, the reduced or active form. Standard CoQ10 supplements contain ubiquinone. This product uses Kaneka Q+ ubiquinol, which is produced by microorganisms, so the CoQ10 arrives already in its active state.
