Each softgel of Natural Factors OmegaFactors Ultra Prim holds 1000 mg of evening primrose oil, giving 100 mg of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) and 720 mg of linoleic acid (LA). A source of omega 6 essential fatty acids for the maintenance of good health.
What is evening primrose oil?
Evening primrose (Oenothera biennis) is a yellow-flowered plant native to North America. Its small seeds are pressed for an oil that is naturally high in linoleic acid and also carries GLA, an omega-6 fatty acid found in few common foods. The oil in Ultra Prim is pressed without heat, meaning the seeds are crushed mechanically and no solvent is applied to draw the oil out.
