I take two of these every day, together with 400-600 mcg of selenium daily. Iodine and selenium are the most important nutrients for a healthy thyroid gland. Mine turned out to be smaller than it should be in an ultrasound scan, and a blood panel showed my T3 levels to be rather low. By supplementing with iodine and selenium I found my energy levels to have improved significantly, although I have yet to repeat the blood panel now that I'm taking kelp and selenium. Note: take only one of these kelp tablets daily if you're already taking iodine in another supplement - for example, if your multivitamin contains 150 mcg iodine.
