Rosehip Seed Oil is produced from the seeds contained inside the berries of a wild rose bush that grows abundantly in the southern Andes: Rosa rubiginosa, also known as rosa mosqueta by the locals in Chile and Argentina.
The pale pink flowers of this shrub are quite the ethereal bloom, with a short life span of only about 24 hours. Once the petals have fallen, what is left behind is the much-coveted reddish fruit, vessel to the precious rosehip seeds.
