An ideal colon cleansing and detox support supplement, OMEGA ALPHA'S HEALTHY COLON PLUS is an active blend of fibers (psyllium, flax, glucomman, apple, and citrus) combined with the herbs slippery elm and marshmallow to help revitalize the gut lining during detoxification. Healthy Colon Plus also contains active probiotic cultures to help ensure long term health of the gut flora.
Adults: Take 5 capsules twice per day with food and at least 2-3 hours before or after taking antibiotics or other medications. Avoid taken immediately before bedtime. Maintain adequate fluid intake. Taking Healthy Colon Plus with insufficient liquid may result in choking and/or esophageal blockage/obstruction of the throat, esophagus or intestine. Effects observed 12-14 hours after first dose, and may take 2-3 days.
The powder works very well, but it doesn't mix well with drinks. I tried mango juice because it was thick and it was tolerable. A bit better with chocolate soy milk. I'm switching to capsules so I can travel with this product.
