About Omega Alpha Vitamin D3 1000 IU Concentrated Drops - Orange (50 mL)
Recent scientific research has suggested taking 1000 I.U. of Vitamin D as a way to prevent a number of different types of cancers. The scientific evidence was compelling enough to prompt a media announcement from the Canadian Cancer Society in support of the research and the recommendation for adults to take 1000 I.
U. daily as a preventative measure for cancer.
Vitamin D is also a necessary co-factor in calcium absorption and utilization, and is especially important in the winter months to increase Vitamin D levels due to lack of exposure to the sun. Easy to take ... loved that it was a liquid vs a capsule. I have been told by my naturopath that my vitamin D is really low so I have to take several drops a day ... didnt care for the after taste of this one. It's not horrible but I've had better.
