About This Product
Organika Electrolytes Lemon Iced Tea Sachets put a sugar-free, caffeine-free iced tea electrolyte drink into 20 single-serve 3.5 g packets. Tear one open, shake it into a 500 ml water bottle, and it is ready.
What's in it
Each serving is a source of five electrolytes (magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium and chloride) and provides more than 100% of the daily recommended intake of vitamin C. It has 0 g of sugar: stevia extract does the sweetening.
Ingredients are prebiotic soluble vegetable fibre, citric acid, magnesium citrate, natural iced tea flavour, potassium citrate, tricalcium phosphate, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), fruit juice for colour, sodium chloride and stevia extract.
Why electrolytes
Electrolytes are the minerals your body uses to manage fluid balance, and magnesium and potassium are involved in muscle and nerve function. You lose them in sweat, which is why plain water alone can leave you short after a hard workout or a hot day.
Iced tea flavour, no caffeine
Lemon Iced Tea is the least fruity flavour in the range, a good fit if berry and citrus mixes taste too sweet to you. The tea taste comes from natural iced tea flavour rather than tea leaves, so there is no caffeine, and fruit juice provides the colour. It is vegan friendly, gluten-free, caffeine-free, keto friendly and non-GMO, with no artificial colours or flavours, and Organika makes it in Canada.
Why sachets
Each sachet is one serving, pre-measured and sealed, so it travels in a gym bag, purse or carry-on without a scoop or a leaky tub. The same flavour also comes in a 210 g tub for home. Organika Electrolytes comes in tubs and in boxes of single-serve sachets, across flavours including Wild Raspberry, Lemon Iced Tea, Cucumber Pear, Pineapple Passion, Pink Lemonade and Classic Lemonade. Every flavour shares the same electrolyte base, so the choice is taste and format.
How to use it
Add 1 sachet (3.5 g) to 500 ml of water. Stir well or shake in a water bottle. Organika says one to two servings a day is fine. The label advises consulting a health care provider before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
