About This Product
Organika Electrolytes Mg Max is a lemonade-flavoured electrolyte drink built around magnesium: 200 mg per sachet from three forms, plus 150 mg of potassium and vitamins B6, B12 and D3. Helps to maintain normal electrolyte balance. One sachet is one day's serving, and the box holds 30.
What Organika Electrolytes Mg Max is licensed for
It is licensed for sale by Health Canada and bears NPN 80145889. The licence lists five recommended uses:
- Helps to maintain normal electrolyte balance.
- Helps to maintain normal muscle function, including the heart muscle.
- Helps to form red blood cells.
- Helps to support immune function.
- Helps to support the body's ability to metabolize nutrients.
Three forms of magnesium in one drink
Most electrolyte mixes carry a token amount of magnesium. Mg Max puts it first, with 200 mg from three forms: magnesium malate (bound to malic acid), magnesium bisglycinate (bound to glycine) and magnesium L-threonate (bound to threonic acid). Potassium comes as potassium citrate at 150 mg, and sodium chloride is in the base.
Each sachet also provides vitamin B6 (0.85 mg), vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin (1.2 mcg) and vitamin D3 (2 mcg, 80 IU). The lemonade taste comes from natural lemonade flavour and citric acid, sweetened with stevia, with a prebiotic soluble vegetable fibre and carrot juice for colour. Sugar is not on the ingredient list.
Who it suits
Mg Max is for adults who want their daily magnesium in a drink rather than a capsule, with electrolytes in the same glass. It fits a post-workout routine, a hot day, or simply getting more water in. If you want a classic electrolyte drink with less magnesium, Organika's regular Electrolytes range is the lighter option.
How to take it
Adults 19 and over take 1 sachet once a day, mixed into water. Do not use it with other potassium-containing supplements or potassium-based salt substitutes.
