What is PGX?
PGX stands for PolyGlycopleX. It is a complex of plant-based soluble fibres that thickens as it takes up water, in the way that oat bran or psyllium does but to a much greater degree. That capacity to absorb water and form a gel is what sets PGX apart from ordinary fibre supplements, and it is the reason a serving is measured in grams, not tablespoons.

How to Take
Dosage:
PGX Daily® can be taken with or without food with a glass of water (250–500 mL) or as directed by a health care practitioner. Week 1: 1 packet, 1 time daily. Week 2: 1–2 packets, 2 times daily. Week 3 and beyond: 1–2 packets, 3 times daily. Serving option: PGX Daily® Granules are unflavoured and can also be sprinkled onto moist food, yogurt, fruit salad (fresh or no sugar varieties), oatmeal, soup, non-carbonated low-calorie beverage, or meal replacement.
Cautions:
Notice: A small percentage of people may initially experience minor digestive changes when taking PGX®. Slowly work up to the full dose to give your body time to adjust. It is important to drink adequate amounts of water (250–500 mL) after taking PGX®. Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner if you are under 18 years of age, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have any health concerns. If you are taking medication, take it one hour prior to or two hours after taking PGX®. If your goal is to achieve weight loss, or if you are diabetic or on cholesterol-lowering medications, consult a qualified health care practitioner prior to use. Keep out of the reach of children.
