Natural Factors Calcium & Magnesium Plus D
This product contains twice the amount of calcium and as it does magnesium in a 2:1 ratio, which is what is recommended by doctors. This product is the chelated form which is tolerated better by people who have allergies to citric products. It has a digestive aid call Betaine hydrochloride that helps mineral absorption by increasing stomach acidity.
The calcium in this product helps to build strong bones and teeth, and also maintains bone density and strength. It also helps to regulate heartbeat, muscle contractions, and blood clotting. It can also be used to possibly help to prevent colon cancer. Calcium and magnesium are very similar in that it works with calcium inside the body and participates in biochemical reactions with it. Magnesium is important to bone formation, the production of energy, and transmissions between nerves and muscles. The product also features Vitamin D because it lets the body absorb the calcium so it can be used by the body.
Other Ingredients: Gelatin capsule (gelatin, purified water, titanium dioxide),
vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).
1-4 capsules daily, a few hours before or after taking other medications, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
