What is MacroGest?
Digestive enzymes are proteins that break food into smaller pieces the body can absorb. MacroGest draws its enzymes from plant, fungal and bacterial sources. Proteases, bromelain and papain act on protein; alpha-amylase, diastase and glucoamylase act on starch; lipase acts on fat; lactase acts on milk sugar; and cellulase and hemicellulase act on plant fibre. Alpha-galactosidase is included as well.
