About Omega Alpha Vitamin D3 1000 IU - Unflavoured (120 mL)
Recent scientific research has suggested taking 1000 I.U. of Vitamin D as a way to prevent a number of different types of cancers. The scientific evidence was compelling enough to prompt a media announcement from the Canadian Cancer Society in support of the research and the recommendation for adults to take 1000 I.U. daily as a preventative measure for cancer.
Vitamin D is also a necessary co-factor in calcium absorption and utilization, and is especially important in the winter months to increase Vitamin D levels due to lack of exposure to the sun. Recent research has also indicated that Vitamin D is useful for heart health, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, diabetes, multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Adults: Take 1 mL (1000 IU) per day. Can be mixed with juice or water. Shake well before use. CAUTION: Do not use if security seal is broken. STORAGE: Store protected from light and moisture. Store away from children. Consume within six (6) months after opening.
I love this product because its so easy to take with any liquid and has virtually no taste. 4000IUs daily along with 25 minutes with a therapy every morning helps get me through a long and dreary winter.
