What is herring roe extract?
Roe is the mass of eggs carried by a female fish. ROMEGA 30 is an extract of roe from Atlantic herring (Clupea harengus). Its omega-3s include 130 mg of DHA and 100 mg of EPA per softgel, and part of each is bound to phospholipids instead of the triglycerides found in standard fish oil. The extract also supplies 30 mg of choline, and the softgel includes 560 mcg of astaxanthin from microalgae.
