Herring oil derived from the roe of Norwegian spring-spawning herring is rich in the essential omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA, as well as choline. Choline is important for healthy liver function and cognitive performance, and is a precursor for the powerful brain chemical acetylcholine, which helps us process information faster and improves memory. Herring oil also contains natural astaxanthin, a member of the carotenoid family, and is one of nature 's most powerful antioxidants. Clinical studies have demonstrated that astaxanthin supports cardiovascular and immune health, as well as protects the skin from premature aging and other health risks associated with exposure to the sun 's UV rays.

Herring roe oil is richer in DHA and EPA phospholipids than krill oil. And, omega-3s in phospholipid form are more easily absorbed. The softgels are small and easy to swallow and the product has no fish repeat. Available in both 500 and 1000 mg.
